Why would you enter the Taunton Deane Business Awards?
It’s a question we get asked occasionally, and a good one if you have never considered what winning an award may do for your company profile, morale and reputation.
We asked one of the winners from last year, why they did it and what they got from it?
Emma Warren, Managing Director of Elite Staffing told us this:
“2 years since launch, we decided to re-brand, develop a new website, invest in a new CRM (Customer relationship management) and enter the Taunton Deane Business Awards.
“We wanted to throw caution to the wind and see if we could obtain some recognition for our success. We were absolutely thrilled to win the ‘New Start Up’ category against some very strong competition and it made the whole team so proud and gave us a new confidence in what we do. Being part of an industry that can come under fire and criticism, winning this award reflects our continual strive for professionalism and integrity in everything we do. We are proud to display our winner’s logo and share the accolade with all of our potential clients.”
This year Elite Staffing are returning to the awards but as a sponsor; recognising the benefit to their business and the opportunity to further increase their profile, the company are sponsoring the award for Best Employer.

Those wishing to celebrate their business success have until the 30th March to apply online. The prestigious awards ceremony will be held at the Somerset County Cricket Club on the 28th June.
The awards, this year, are organised by Taunton Chamber of Commerce and White Knight Marketing. White Knight are sponsoring the best Marketing Campaign Award.
